Vitula Skillman named Missouri's 2009 Outstanding Clerk
Wentzville City Clerk Honored - Dianna Wright, City Administrator of Wentzville, nominated City Clerk, Vi Skillman to receive the 2009 Outstanding Clerk of the Year Award which was announced at the Awards Banquet held at the 2009 MoCCFOA Spring Institute. In Ms. Wright's nomination, she states the following:
"It is with great honor that I make this nomination for Outstanding City Clerk award for 2009.She is a professional and a dedicated public servant.She has provided outstanding service to the community during her years as Assistant City Clerk and City Clerk. She is committed to her professional development and is willing to share her knowledge with others.Her support of the city’s management team and to fellow City Clerk’s is a priority and she continues to be a role model and mentor to individuals entering the field of City Clerk. I have found her knowledge of the community, legislative issues and historical knowledge of the organization invaluable.
She is a dedicated professional that has demonstrated organizational and management skills.She is a leader that can manage human, fiscal, and capital resources successfully and is an asset to our organization and our community.
